With the Alberta Clipper transporting dirty tar sands from Canada, the proposed Sandpiper, and increased rail carrying Bakken crude oil from North Dakota, there's a lot of organizing to do to keep fossil fuels in the ground.
On Saturday, February 21st, activists from across the Midwest will be gathering in Madison, Wisconsin for the Tar Sands/Bakken Petroleum Summit. It's a gathering with friends from across the region who are fighting these same fights, to learn from each other, and to strategize about how, together, we can win this fight for a healthy, stable world.
In addition to the people power we bring to the summit, we also know it takes financial commitment to pull off these opportunities to collaborate. Will you make a donation to support the organizing efforts of this regional summit?
